How do I remove information from Intelius, Truthfinder, and InstantCheckmate?

PeopleConnect—parent company of Intelius, Truthfinder, and InstantCheckmate—currently does not honor opt-out requests submitted on your behalf by DeleteMe (even with a signed authorization form).
While we continue to advocate for change, you can successfully remove your personal information yourself by following these steps:

Opt-Out Steps:

1. Go to the PeopleConnect Suppression Center.
   Enter your email address and click “Submit.”

2. Check your email.
   Look for a message titled Confirm your email address from PeopleConnect. Click the verification link in that email within 15 minutes—after that, you’ll be redirected back to the Suppression Center to continue.
   (If you miss the window, repeat Step 1.)

3. Enter your information.
   Once your email is verified, you’ll automatically be redirected to a new page. Here, fill in all the requested personal details.
   Note: A full street address is required—city and state alone won’t work. Click “Save” when done.

4. Verify your contact info.
   You’ll be redirected to a review page, where you’ll need to verify your email and phone by entering codes sent to each. After entering your codes, click “Suppression Setting” in the top right corner to continue.

5. Suppress your records.
   You’ll be redirected again to a final review page showing any matching records of your information. Use the “Visibility Setting” dropdown to choose whether to suppress (hide) your details or allow them to remain visible.
