Why am I being asked to sign an authorization form?

Occasionally, we’ll ask you to sign an Authorization Form—a limited power of attorney that lets us go the extra mile in removing your information from especially stubborn sites.

• It’s always your choice: The form is completely optional. Only sign if you feel comfortable.
• Why might it be needed? Sometimes, a data broker requires extra steps beyond a standard opt-out. The form allows us to handle those “any other actions” for you, so you don’t have to.
