Why enable 2 Factor Authentication (2FA)?

When you set up 2-factor authentication on your Deleteme account, you’re adding an extra layer of security and password protection to your profile. This helps us verify that it’s you when you sign in on a new device, such as a mobile device or a public computer. This type of multifactor authentication (MFA) helps make sure that only you can access your account.

Each time you sign in from a device we don’t recognize, we’ll prompt you to enter your 2FA code during sign-in along with your username and password.
