Overview
After a member sets a password for their DeleteMe account they will be prompted to complete their Data Sheet so that we can begin the first report on their behalf. The Data Sheet prompts the user to input their information so that we can begin identifying their digital profile and removing their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from data aggregator websites.
DeleteMe will prompt you for the following information:
- Name(s)
- Date of Birth
- Email Address(es)
- Phone Number(s)
- Address(es)
- Employer Information
- Relatives
- Authorization
DeleteMe will never ask for a social security number or bank information in the data sheet. DeleteMe consumer members will be prompted to provide a payment method but this will not be in the data sheet.
Member Experience
Portability Email
When setting up your DeleteMe account, there is an important additional step: configuring your Portability Email. This should be a personal email address. If your employer-sponsored coverage is ever removed, you will receive a notification at this address with next steps on how to continue your coverage at the consumer level. You can find this option on your dashboard under Settings > Account
