How To Add Members – DeleteMe

Overview

System administrators are able to add new members to their DeleteMe account at any time from within their admin dashboard or are able to configure self-service onboarding for their members to use.

Methods for Adding New Members

There are four methods to adding new members into your DeleteMe account:

Upload CSV
Automate with Okta/SCIM

Instructions

Navigate to Members, then "Add Members" to access three methods for adding members to your organization.

Add Manually

Enter members one at a time using the editable table. Each row requires:

- First name, last name, email

- Plan assignment

- Instant Coverage (optional), select this option if you want the member protection to begin immediately after being added to your organization, without requiring your members to fill out their profile. This option requires adding additional member information (Date of Birth, Personal Email, Address, and Phone Number)

After filling in the member information, click Confirm & Add Member. You'll be asked whether to send invitation emails immediately or later.

Upload CSV

Download one of the two templates, populate it, and upload the file (drag-and-drop or browse). The platform auto-detects which template you used.

Standard Upload Template

Use this when members will fill in their own privacy data sheet after registering. Their first report starts once they complete it.

Instant Coverage Template

Use this when you have the member's detailed information on hand. The date of birth, personal email, phone, and address are submitted on their behalf. Their first report cycle kicks off immediately without them needing to complete a data sheet first.

After the upload, the rows appear in the same editable grid as manual entry so you can review and correct before confirming.

Automate with Okta/SCIM

For organizations using Okta, members can be provisioned and de-provisioned automatically via SCIM. Set up lives in Administration > Members. The Add Members page links there directly by clicking on "Go to Administration" to Configure SCIM.

Once configured, assigning a user to the DeleteMe app in Okta creates their account automatically. Removing them deactivates it.
